Both of the recent incidents involved the military.

Think about who enrolls in the military for a minute.

You mean men and women who are brave enough to risk their lives for our safety and freedom?

LOL. No. You’re precious, though.

What a classist, racist, and elitist comment.

DOGE needs to shut down these military honor flights ASAP. Veterans should be honored in other ways.

+1 They should say that if you want a flyover for a funeral you will have to use a different military cemetery . . . not at Arlington. There is just too much air traffic in the area. Plus not having them would save money.

Can USA outsource the commercial pilots and military pilots to another country?

Did this happen on the same day as the kite flyers at Gravelley Park who hit a plane?
What is going on at DCA?

The various US military branches train up some of the best pilots on the planet. What a silly, silly post.

Officers who are college educated and extensive training. The issue is the military and civilian systems don't communicate easily.

Its very rare to get a honor flight. Its only for very high ranking.

It was Thursday, March 27. The kite flyers were today, Saturday March 29. The kite flyers are about 0.01% of a concern compared to the honor flights crossing over the runways at 350 mph at 800 feet.

Also, it doesn't appear that the Arlington flyovers are that rare.

Understood, no issues there. Just don't do flyovers there.
