Text message notification about an email

Unless it's inclement weather, I ignore fcps texts telling me to check my email for XYZ.

The fcps emails are word salads and their surveys are a formality and just for show.

I reviewed my FCPS text history. The weather delays and closings I could have seen elsewhere but didn't annoy me, good news to know. Lots of false alarms that my kid was absent, which is important because I need to get that corrected right away, although fixing the attendance system would be nice too. Then the texts from Reid saying that she had sent an email, GTFO of my text notifications.

My thoughts exactly. it's like the person who CCs you on work emails that you don't want or need or that person who abuses "Reply to all."

Op- what school does your kid attend? I need to send the principal and teachers there some wine and flowers for having to deal with your entitlement and whining.

It’s just a freakin’ text that takes 2 seconds to delete. Some of you all are not okay.

Some people work and get lots of texts regarding work. Sending a text to tell you to check your email seems a little over the top for a school superintendent.
