It looks like a high school art student's best work-- not like a portrait by an accomplished artist. Either it was intentional, or the artist isn't very good.

It's actually quite flattering. His hair is tough to work with, and it looks like she did the best she could with that travesty of nature. She gave him a healthy skin tone instead of his favored orange clown makeup. He should be complimenting her.

Nope. Portraits are hard, but his mouth, eyes, and nose are not done well.

It's not a great likeness - he looks way better in this portrait than in real life!

Tee hee.

The only important fact to be gleaned from this kerfuffle is that our “president” is choosing to spend his time on crap like this

No kidding. Way to focus on what really matters, Mr. President.

But also, how can someone so vain allow such a terrible makeup job? I am happy for him that someone convinced him to stop dyeing his hair that bizarre color.

Very few would have seen the picture until he shared it.

I agree, but that artist must have been a sympathy pick. She is not skilled at all.

I am so glad to see President Trump focused on the right things! Thank you, President Trump! Keep up the great work, Godspeed.

I want to see if the artist has other works for sale. Happy to help make her career!

The portrait looks better than the man, but it's not an accurate portrait. It looks like the recent JD Vance meme bubble face.

I love it when he's BIG MAD.

It's not that far off. Of course, the Trump butthole mouth would have been much closer to reality, but paintings aren't meant to be photographs.

He looks younger in that painting than IRL. He should be thanking her!

Looks like the portrait of a mid-level management candidate for a third-tier accounting firm out of Des Moines.
