We’re nearly in a recession now; we might be going into a full depression. By design. The new MAGA and alt-right talking point is that we actually need a little bit of an economic crash and that we will then be stronger than ever in 2 years. Totally! What they don’t know is that a few billionaires and multi millionaires may be better than ever but they’re not in that tiny group. They’ll be suffering with the rest of us. Wonder how long they’ll think their suffering is for some noble purpose and is temporary before they catch on that they’ve been had.

My wife and I replaced our cars this past week with two new Lexus thinking the tariffs will increase the price of new cars over the next year. Now is the time to buy before April.

The idea that people voted for Trump just because of the economy, in 2016 and 2024 is beyond mind blowing. They only voted for him in 2016 because of the apprentice and in 2024 because they were brainwashed.

It all sums up to a grim outlook, imo. And how exactly is the US going to combat a severe recession? They're blowing up our deficit by$4T more debt due to the proposed tax cuts. Where's the money going to come from when they need to spend even more deficit to combat the recession? Anyone else feel very bad about the economy and where we are headed? I feel like the bottom is going to fall out soon due to all of the jobs losses, and the US is headed for a very bad recession.

the list is absolutely endless about how this man should be completely disqualified from being potus, but the idea that people voted for him based on the economy is beyond comprehension. But yes, those voters are stupid, brainwashed, etc.
