| Go to a running store. There used to be one in Falls Church near the Trader Joe’s. No one can suggest a good shoe because we don’t know if you pronate, supinate, etc. |
| For me, OOFOS. But now I want to try Hokas. |
| Go to REI and try walking shoes that are Keen. |
| I love my Brooks Ghosts. I replace the insole with pink Superfeet one. |
| Nurse here. I’ve worn Danskos forever, but sneakers may work better for you — I agree with the suggestions to head to a specialty shoe store. Also, are you wearing compression socks? Those help a ton with sore feet. Bombas are the absolute best. |
| I recommend looking up road runners or the pr running store. They will analyze your feet and suggest the best shoes for you. |
| OP here. I went to a running store near me (not in the DC area anymore). They recommended the Brooks Glycerin. |
Omg, Danskos! Do manynurses still wear these? We all wore them when I worked as a nurse 15-20 yrs ago. I rolled my ankles in them ALL the time. It’s a miracle I never broke anything. |
| I have a wide toe box so Altra has been great for me. |
Which brands for wide feet are acceptable to you? |
I can agree. I am a teacher who’s on my feet all day, and I either wear sneakers or Danskos. I am so glad things are more casual and nobody cares about us wearing sneakers anymore! |
| Oh whoops… You don’t like Danskos! I do, but everybody has different feet. |
| I have high arches. Asics gel series are perfection for me. |
Also, Bombas socks. Expensive but wear forever. Arch support built in. |

Which brands for wide feet are acceptable to you? [/b] Hoka Bondi. They're not beautiful, but I no longer have plantar fasciitis since I have been wearing these sneakers. |
