| Looking for suggestions for people who work in jobs where you are on your feet all day. I’m turning 50 soon and my go-to Nikes aren’t working for me anymore. Lots of foot and ankle fatigue everyday. TIA! |
| I love my HOKA shoes. I haven’t had any flare-ups of plantar fasciitis since I started wearing them. |
| Hoka! |

Please see a podiatrist or ortho if your level of instability and pain has actually shifted a lot from your baseline. And a session or two with a PT
With respect to exactly what type of shoes you should get, there are no answers because it’s 100% individual preference. I work in an operating room and we do 10-hr surgery on our feet. The footwear ranges from Dansko to barefoot-type shoes to cowboy boots to waterproof crocs. My preference is not going to be your preference. That’s why I want you to at least get your feet assessed once. And your gait. — orthopedic OR nurse |
| Thanks everyone. I have an appointment with a podiatrist but it isn’t until August (I’m a new patient). I’m headed to a running store later so I’ll try on some. Thanks. |

| A lot of my coworkers and I wear Hokas. |
| Like others, I love my hokas! I find the Arahi style to be most supportive for me. |

I recently spent a week in the hospital and the Drs and nurses wore:
Hoka Brooks ON |
I have wide feet -not OP - and want to like these but they all seem so ugly to me. |
| Thanks everyone. I bought some Brooks today. Much more sturdy and supportive than I’m used to but also more lightweight and cushiony. |
| OP, are you local to the DMV. If so, next time go to RnJ - they will assess your gait and factoring in intended purpose of wear, recommend the best sneaker for you (even anong Brooks, there are all different styles, levels of support etc). |
