Oh you just know PP is having a fit every day about things the Trump administration is doing. They are part of the resistance! Far left people are the biggest hypocrites out there. |
Well, I guess that we should just sit back and enjoy trumps work. He was elected. *shrug* |
Exactly, it’s ridiculous that I can’t open a unregulated zip line attraction in my yard. |
The YIMBYs are selfish little pigs that care not one bit about you or anyone else. Well, except all of the people that doesn’t live in the area. The hypothetical people are more important than residents, I guess. |
Is it my job to make rent cheaper in my neighborhood? |
Trump is on your NIMBY side, numbskull. |
"F you, I got mine!" How neighborly of you. No wonder Trump won. |
In other others, you are a hypocrite. Got it. |
You poor NIMBYs really have no idea how outnumbered you really are. So sad that you resort to these silly arguments. Very entertaining, though! If you don't like the laws that say a building can be built, and what roads need to be built, then vote differently. The community has already spoken, you lost. Get over it. |
Sure. Whatever soothes your conscience from the effective taking to line your pocket without the consent of those from whom you take. |
I looked at the map. They literally are planning an egress between two houses on a cul de sac. And, PP is correct about the main access point through a daycare parking lot. We are talking about 250 units. This does not affect me. I do not live in Franklin Farm, though I do live nearby. This is not the right place for this plan. But, how would you like a new road going between two rather close houses. These are not acred estates. They are suburban homes. It will also involve clearning out a heavily treed area which likely houses wildlife. |
This isn't actually true. When people say this, usually they mean that they want a SFH and can't afford one. But there are actually more than enough apartments. The big problem is that there is lots of price-fixing for apartments, so no matter how many apartments get built, the prices never come down. |
These bills failed because Virginia residents don’t want Richmond telling them how they should run their communities. |
You don’t care about school overcrowding, traffic, noise pollution or the environment, flooding. The only thing you care about is boosting developers profits and ruining neighborhoods. Qualify of life matters and your policies prioritize developers profits over everything else. People want to live in a community with a healthy environment and have a government that protects their well-being |
It’s not neighborly to cut down a bunch of trees and pave over 8 acres of land which will cause flooding for the adjacent homes. |
