Because no one cares.

CNN, MSNBC viewers and WaPo, LATimes, Politico, NYTimes readers think the summer of BLM riots were "mostly peaceful". What's your point?

Because they were. Here is the actual data.

OP, it may not even be worth showing them such articles. Been there, done that with my Trump/DOGE-doing/God’s-work relatives. They just declare they don’t trust the Soros/Commie news sources (AP, NYTimes, even WSJ) and continue believing what works for them and makes them feel
smarter than those who hate America because they trust FOX above all.

Even when they do cover a story they completely miss the point. When a judge blocks the deportation flights the other outlets say "he's defending the Constitution" while Fox News says "immigrants baaaaad!"

Does Fox News ever cover trans folks, or do they try to erase their existence?

Someone upthread said “the stock market correction.” Bingo. The next time major news outlets are reporting that the stock market is down 10% from a year ago, or something similar and using objective data like that, take screenshots of the first 3 pages of the Fox News website, then the same with NY Times, Al Jazeera, CNN, etc.

Because I did, and at the same time the other major news sites were reporting on this “correction” and hypothesizing it was because of erratic tariff application and withdrawal, Fox was filled with stories instead about Trans people trying to use a bathroom, or making fun of AOC, or something similar. I don’t know how far you would have to scroll down on the Fox site to see the loss huge decrease in stock market value, but it wasn’t there in the first three pages.

well Trump didn't do it, his administration hyped releasing it and it was quite the embarrassing nothingburger. The typical MAGA conspiracy theorist takeaway is that that the they (the Trump administration) have a lot to hide and are probably complicit in some nasty actions. Don't you agree?

Yes.

Balanced news reporting would actually include the peaceful protests. There were many of them. Families even brought kids to family themed ones. My husband went to one in downtown DC where he ate a hotdog from a guy grilling and people were dancing and singing.

You would not know this occurred at all per Fox.

The Fox viewers seem to believe that entire cities were ablaze for months. I’m not joking, or using hyperbole.

This week, or going back

Just where Fox chooses not to cover news stories at all. (Keeping viewers in a bubble)

I’m having a conversation with a family member …

You mean like how all news outlets except Fox ignored millions of migrants coming over the border & Joe’s senility for 4 years? Stuff like that?

I’m the one who posted it. I checked Fox News and Breitbart sites every day for weeks. Neither one would even mention the uncertainty in the markets—let alone talk about the massive drop in stocks. They basically didn’t mention the word, “stock,” anywhere. They didn’t even talk about individual company stocks. It was as if the stock market suddenly didn’t even exist.
