Teen girl got arrested next to CVS right outside Tenleytown-AU Metro Station

It's pretty hard to get arrested in DC. There's not a lot the police don't let slide.

Cleveland Park was at its peak when Dino, Ireland’s 4Ps, and the Uptown were still in business. Ditto Friendship Heights when the fancy AMC was the first to serve drinks in the area.

It’s been sad to see all these areas decline.

I guess that's why houses in Tenleytown cost less than they did in the early 2000s, because nobody wants to live in such awful decline.

Wait, what? They're several times more expensive even after adjusting for inflation? Meaning the only metric that can't possibly be skewed and distorted, the fact that people are willing to put millions of their hard earned dollars where their mouth is, says Tenley is more desirable than ever? But that doesn't line up with your fee fees!

CVS and 7-11 deal with theft on a daily basis.

That’s no reason to just just arrest her!

You don't think shoplifting is a reason to arrest someone?

Yes, anarchy is preferable to the rule of law. What a nitwit.

Was she BIPOC ?

Someone knows. What race was she? We need to know her race.

Tenleytown started going downhill once Roy Rogers closed.

Keep telling yourself that! Be safe out there.

I was there, too. Black teen girl with a bunch of friends around. I was also curious what was going on- seemed unlikely it was serious enough to handcuff and push her into a cop car.

And this is based on your accurate observation of everything leading up to the incident, coupled with your knowledge of everything said and done? Or is this based merely on your preference that "black teen girls" should never be arrested for anything, no matter what laws they break?

Racist.

Your definition of peak awesome is that there’s a functional movie theater. Got it.

You will _love_ Chantilly Va!

There's no movie theater in Chantilly.

The teenagers are the problem. Just as we were when we’d descend on Maggie’s and order one pizza a a bunch of pitchers of beer in the 90s.
