I bring enough swimsuits so I don't need to wash them on the trip.
From experience they last much longer and don't get ruined if you hand wash and air dry. |
Not PP, but I have never heard this…our bathing suits seem fine after many times through the dryer. |
This. I hate wet swimsuits, so I blow dry them with a hair dryer. It wears them out quicker, but I don't care. |
When my kids were little I'd throw theirs in the dryer because they were cheap and I didn't care. Plus they outgrow them. I don't ever dry mine. They last years even with weekly use year round (I don't live in DC). |
Good grief. Read the label. |
I use the sink and baby shampoo. Dry on balcony. |
Cold water and squirt of body wash in hotel bathroom sink.
Drip dry outside or in shower. Yes, still damp but I put my suit on last minute anyway and immediately get in the water. |
This. |
Totally. |
Am i the only one who can get through a week at the beach with 2 suits that i just rinse out in the shower when I take them off? |
Wash in sink or bathtub/shower with a tiny bit of laundry detergent but honestly I don't wash after every wear when we're on vacation, I'll rinse it out well, re-wear, then wash the next day. |
Hang on the door handle to dry, then wear again. I can’t believe you all actually wash bathing suits on a short vacation. |

No - I am finding all of this fascinating and wondering if all these people are so over the top high maintenance as to make me look laissez faire or if I missed some crucial part of an education about the importance of washing a suit |
