I’ve seen a few people have multiple tops for one bottom. Do you wash the bottoms and rotate the tops and if so, what do you use to wash them when staying in a hotel room? I feel like they’d never dry.
This would be for 7 days hotel not Airbnb/vrbo. |
Rinse off in the shower and let it air dry on the balcony or in the bathroom. |
Just rinsing them and hanging them in the shower. They don’t dry and it’s annoying. If you have a balcony you can hang out there. I’ve also rinsed off in pool shower and got back out to lay in the sun to dry. |
How do you know that there aren’t multiple bottoms that look the same? The idea of having multiple tops but only one bottom on weird, because usually the swim suit doesn’t dry fast enough. We bring multiple suits so that while one is still drying, we can use the other one. |
I bring 3 suits per person. Wash them in the shower every night. We use two a day usually. They dry enough for another day. I hang in a hanger somewhere in the room. Depends on location. Out west it was super dry and they dried out fast. |
At the beach, I put them through a rinse and spin in the washer before hanging outside.
In a hotel if you want something to hang dry, it helps a lot to roll it in a towel first. Roll it up and step on the towel for a while. |
Right? I remember worrying about kid floaties would dry on a trip to Arizona and it took like, a few hours. At the beach on the east coast? Literally never. |
Your rental doesn’t have a dryer? |
I bring a tiny 1oz bottle of laundry detergent and was them in the sink, then hang them on the balcony. There usually isn’t enough airflow for them to properly dry inside the room, and then they get musty. We alternate between two suits if we swim more than once a day. |
You should really stop putting your bathing suits in the dryer. You are ruining them! |
Capsule wardrobe packing plans often have this setup. Multiple tops and one bottom for mix/match effect. |
bathing suits are way too $$ to put them in the dryer |
Who cares? Launder when you get home. |
I wash them in the shower as I shower. I take a travel size Dr. Bronner's and scrub them with that. |
me again -- I also do the kids when I shower (I tend to shower last). DH is on his own. |
