Actually his parents died 3 days apart. Then a couple weeks later his family was evacuated due to the wildfires-- they live in Pacific Palisades. His longtime assistant and podcast cohost, Sona Movsesian, lost her home in Altadena.

He's been thorough a lot in the last couple months.
