+1

My daughter went on a school trip to France, and when she asked what I wanted as a souvenir I answered sunscreen. I’ve had friends say, “but they sell that brand in the US, so just buy it here.” They do not like to hear that it is a different formula here. US sunscreens are mostly ineffective against UVA rays.

I also like Biafine for burns.

I second Biafine- that stuff is a miracle worker on minor burns.

I have a condo north of Paris and go back and forth. What I bring back with me: Biafine, BiafineACT (doesn’t break me out if I use it on the face), Cicalfate (magic zinc cream, cures all cuts and zits etc.), Bioderma sensibio micellar water and atoderm cream, Bepanthen diaper cream (good for my kids but also great for slugging after retin-A). Homeoplasmine ointment. A313 is a good intro retinol and doesn’t dry me out. They sell a creamy micellar water they use with cotton squares instead of baby wipes that’s really nice to prevent diaper rash.

Also I get my prescriptions filled - levothroxine is easy to get if your bottle has your name and dosage on it. RetinA is cheap if you have a U.S. rx to show.

Also Puressential air spray, esp. the night time one.
