I'm in the PNW and we had a large wind storm this week (thanks so climate change these are more and more frequent). My power was out for days and all stores were closed. This is going to happen more and more, all around the country. There is no more FEMA. You're on your own America. |
Liar. All Giant stores have eggs. |
Whole Foods in FH was completely out of eggs. They offered duck eggs instead. |
Lol. Let them eat cake (made with duck eggs). |
This is what maga promised. You can eat propaganda. Watch Fox and you will not feel hungry. |
Between bird flu, USDA layoffs, deportations and tariffs we are about to have major, MAJOR food supply chain issues in this country. It will make COVID look like a walk in the park. Buy rice and beans people. |
Or better yet, buy some chickens. |
Not entirely true. USDA was helping with the farmers and research. Many people got fired and the farmers were complaining that they didn't have any information. |
See now if democrats were as fierce and determined as MAGA, they would put little stickers that say "Thank Trump!" right next to the empty egg bins. Like when they had Thank biden stickers on the gas consoles at gas stations. |
Not OP but the Wheaton Costco was completely out of eggs last weekend. |
LOL obvs because they have no regulations! Caveat emptor! |
Also not OP and my husband reported no eggs at all at Wegmans a couple weekends ago. Completely sold out, even the brown eggs and cage free premium ones. |
I don’t find egg as at trader joes anymore. |
I lived in a former Eastern Bloc country for several years. Things are feeling a little too much like my time there now. Like, we’re not totally there, not even close, but we’re careening towards it purposefully, which is pretty disturbing.
Attacks on civil servants/rule of law, food shortages, random acts of political violence, massive corruption by the ruling class, a weak civil society, frequent distractions (good and bad) to keep the public distracted and pacified, brain drain so that the best and brightest get the hell out— yeah, we’re going that route, unfortunately. I don’t understand why people would choose these things but I also think they don’t know how good we had it. For a time. |
Liar. You didn't visit every Giant store today. |
