I'm curious also. My daughter got a 2298 and is waitlisted.

You might be able to email the Sci and Tech coordinator and find out. I'll see if my kid knows the scores of anyone else. DS had a 2394.

Thanks, I did email the coordinator last Sunday and haven't heard back yet. I'm hoping they're just really busy and will get back to me soon.

Can you share the name? I searched the site but I could only find Mr Walker who I think retired.

Yes, I emailed him first, but the email was undeliverable. Then I found these names under the "specialty program contact list" for Roosevelt.

felicia.martin@pgcps.org
sharla.peterssmith@pgcps.org

Please let me know if you contact them and they respond to you (as I haven't gotten any response). Thanks!

Mine had a 2354, waitlisted, were trying to figure out the cutoff and believe it could be around 2360-2370-ish

Dr. Sharla Peters-Smith is the new S&T Coordinator. She is Dr. Walker's replacement.

My DC is a senior and was initially waitlisted in 2021. I looked back to see how I found out his waitlist position- I initially emailed pgcps.teachandlearn@pgcps.org and someone responded and copied Dr. Martin-Latief (STEM coordinator) at stem@pgcps.org. I have no idea if this will work for you, but it might be worth a try.

Thanks so much! I'll definitely try that!

Just following up to see if anyone has more info regarding how to find out a student's waitlist number. It would be helpful to know if we are 5 or 50 on the waitlist

I tried reaching out to the POCs for the Science and Tech program. They said they do not keep a list of the waitlist numbers. They told me to contact stem@pgcps.org. I reached out to them a week ago, but no response. Then I emailed some test results email address. The test results department said they don't have the info either and said they don't think the county gives out waitlist information anymore, because the numbers change so quickly. It's definitely frustrating, because like you said, I'd like to know if we are 5 or 50.

If you are at one of the TAG middle schools, the TAG coordinator might be able to give you the lowest score they know got in.

I talked with the coordinator Dr Peter-Smith, she said that by April 4, students and parents on the waitlist will be notified as spots are clearing up

The registration system in Synergy seems to be working for 2025 in case anyone was struggling.

They extended the deadline for accepting Specialty Program seats to the 26th. I'm guessing because the process was such a $hitshow.

They will start waitlist offers on April 7

Do you happen to know if the waitlist offers will be sent via email or regular mail?
