I would take train to Philly. I’m not particularly worried about my Tesla being vandalized. If someone keys it, I don’t really care. I guess if someone smashes it up with a baseball bat, that would be a PiTA. But that seems unlikely. I hate Musk with an absolutel passion but I’ve had the car since the Obama administration and it seems dumb to junk a perfectly good car. |
| I live in the Philly burbs and there are multiple teslas on my block, all owned by Dems. I would not sweat this at all. |
No, remember, it is Trump who keeps us safe!! |
| Where is the big public lot? I can’t offhand think if one. Are there no parking attendants? |
|
It takes all of my effort not to key up every MAGA/don't tread on me car in VA.

You can't find a garage and Uber to and fro?
I don't think it being a Tesla will get it vandalized. The people who are maddest about Elon fall into the owner, not the vandal, demographic. |
Regular car |
| I don’t assume Tesla owners are Trumpers. I assume they are shallow and image conscious, that’s all. |
|
Is there a reason you are worried? Can you tell me why? Had someone's Tesla being vandalized you know of?
|
|
Tesla cars have sentry mode. Anyone near the car is recorded on video. You can review the video at any time to see who "keyed" or "smashed" your car. I would not worry about taking the car up there. |
|
^Also many public lots use video surveillance cameras. |
|
No, because I don't have one.
But I almost bought one, and now I'm glad I didn't. |
Are you kidding? NP |
The Shame |
| I admit, when I was driving yesterday, someone in a Tesla wanted to merge into my lane and I did not go out of my way to let them. The only reason was that it was a Tesla. I did not want to stare at the word “Tesla” while crawling through traffic. |
