Or breaks alliance and goes elsewhere. I am not sure Valor would give up RL.

Don’t think so, but NAL carries some GA clubs 2nd teams…my take is that they will at some point transition over.

This will give clubs with strong 2nd teams in DPL to move up to GA

Seems like the GA clubs in this area need to consolidate their GA2 teams into the same league for this announcement to mean anything for the DMV.
Once NVA announces, you will have NVA and Loudoun GA2, Rev GA and GA2, TSJ GA and GA 2, McLean GA and GA2, and SYC GA and GA 2. This starts to form its own regional league in NOVA plus MD market.

Isn't this just CCL again?

This is just getting stupid. What’s next? GA 3 and ECNL-RL-RL??!! Money grabs just so your DD can play “GA” and “ECNL” when they’d be better off playing rec. And parents will pay for it.
Anonymous
Yes this is just the same teams in a regional conference playing each other under a new league name.

But it also gives teams who will be getting MLSN on the boys side, one less reason to not switch their girls to GA since there is now a comparable RL component.

You're not too far off at all. Watch the number of commitments of players to college on GA2 teams and ECNL-RL and you'll see there basically none.

ECNL is about to introduce a promotion based league as well…

ECNL will make 'Pre-ECNL' official so parents of U10-U12 can experience crazy travel distances and attend showcases.

maybe in Utah but not in DMV, too many teams to have to drive to far, so troll with facts next time chief
