This is the big news? Paying a PR firm to brand GA2?

Well the title of this thread is misleading

Probably paid the same firm that branded ECNL-RL

Cutting checks to DPL to do it for you, nice.

Only people benefitting from this are DPL I would imagine in terms of geographic footprint, as they now hold a card on the GA..

It can be debated all we want, the only telling thing will be what the landscape looks like in 5-10 years.

To their credit the GA is finally trying to do something vs just keep getting destroyed.

This is the big news? You GA hats must be heartbroken.

?? We knew it was coming.
ECNL is going to copy cat and announce their promotional league next

Does DPL operate a division/conference in the DMV area?

Don’t think so, but NAL carries some GA clubs 2nd teams…my take is that they will at some point transition over.

This will give clubs with strong 2nd teams in DPL to move up to GA

Seems like the GA clubs in this area need to consolidate their GA2 teams into the same league for this announcement to mean anything for the DMV.

Once NVA announces, you will have NVA and Loudoun GA2, Rev GA and GA2, TSJ GA and GA 2, McLean GA and GA2, and SYC GA and GA 2. This starts to form its own regional league in NOVA plus MD market.

If NVA goes then assume Valor goes GA2.

Isn't that league called ECNL-RL?

Nice little 'Homegrown' hint dropping. I'll bet there's more news in store...

Will also likely include Skyline, Coppermine, Baltimore Celtic, and any other GA team in MD. Bethesda if they switch? Any other club not GA can apply to take part of it.
