If you don’t have the money to fly, then consider driving to Bethany or OCMD, stay oceanfront, etc.
Bethany is walkable and you can eat at or get takeout at DiFebo’s and their market. You can walk around Rehoboth, the outlets, Lewes, etc. Ditto if you stay in OCMD (more hotel options). I love the beach, so that’s what I would do if I didn’t want to drop money (or time) on air travel. |
Why do you think she doesn’t have the money to fly, when she specifically says she is looking for luxury? |

I would stay local TBH. There's really nothing remarkable within 4 hours around here. |
I highly doubt this person wants to browse the outlets in OCMD! But you do you boo. |
Well, my family spends upwards of $50k/year on travel yet I still enjoy a quiet weekend in Bethany relaxing along with popping into some outlets in Rehoboth (usually after a nice meal and some shopping in Lewes). Flying somewhere for a weekend can be exhausting. Sometimes it’s easier to drive 2.5 hours to the beach. But you do you, boo. |
Check the weather for this weekend, a lot of rain in the southeast. |
Another vote for the Lodge at Woodloch. Its an all-inclusive spa with fitness classes, hikes, meditation, great food and spa services that can be purchased for additional money. I have seen many women there by themselves. |
is this place like super rustic? Poconos creeps me out (no offense) but I could change my mind on that.... |
Savannah or Charleston. Charleston has great food, nice old town to walk in, spas. |
Drive to Chincoteague and stay at Miss Molly’s B&B. Spend a day on Assateague looking at the wild ponies and all the lovely birds. Spend another day just poking around the shops and such on Chincoteague. |
Hilton Head
Take a charter out to see dolphins Walk the beach See the sunsets and a sunrise Breath in the salty ocean air |
Primland. |
It’s a lovely hotel with an all inclusive restaurant, multiple activities and a great spa (treatments at extra cost). Probably booked every weekend for months to come. |
Drive to Bedford Springs in Pennsylvania |
