An elderly, physically frail politician with questionable health both mental and physical? Democrats can’t get enough.

Bonus points for usage of a wheelchair or hoveround.

The more often a politician falls in public, the more democrats love the politician.

I'd take Capt. Pike blinking "yes" or "no" from his wheelchair before I let a known Russian asset take charge of our intelligence community.

Thank god. Can you imagine how awful Trump's second choice for this position would likely be?? He has a very shallow pool of people to choose from that are both somewhat qualified and willing to work for him. I'll take Gabbard over Hulk Hogan or Dennis Rodman.

But no reason to believe hulk Hogan is compromised so I’d actually prefer him. More q’s around Rodman.

Mitch is at the end of his life. He’s just a sad figure now. He’s more concerned with fighting against Trump than Democrats.

Mitch had two chances to impeach Trump and he didn't. So this is on him. Maybe he's atoning? He's still going to hell.

The GOP nominated and elected someone that is just as old and unfit as Biden in 2024. This moronic obsession with elderly politicians isn't limited to just Dems.

Republicans should ask why we need a DNI when they just offered CIA folks “buyout package” and don’t seem to be listening to any other country anyhow.

Meh. He knew that Gabbard was going to get confirmed anyway. If the vote were really down to him, he would have confirmed her, because party over country always for him.

She's going to start shutting down intelligence agencies - just watch.

She’s going to get operatives killed.

She’s been serving in our military for years, doing multiple tours overseas. You’ve done nothing for our country and you have the nerve to question the loyalty of someone who has put their life on the line for this country.

Go away Elon

Does the average American have any trust whatsoever in our intelligence agencies? Don't they usually just overthrow governments in South America and wiretap the domestic populace?

The IC should be smart enough to circumvent the insider threat that she poses and work around it for the next four (or maybe more) years. They do it all the time as operatives.

Maybe from an institutional perspective, but there's still a lot of damage she can do on her own.
