How is Cape Cod offseason (End of March/ Early April)?

I have a house there and it is my least favorite time to go because it's usually getting warm and starting to turn green in DC but still late winter in New England. Even May can be chilly, although this past May was lovely.

It can be both. As PP said, DC starts to turn a corner that time of year. The Cape does not. Still brown, gray, damp, and cold.

We have a house on the Cape. It depends on where you go I'm sure. Weather wise, it's pretty blah. It can be pretty quiet to the point of a lot being closed and there being not a whole lot to do. I wouldn't recommend.

We went in March. It felt like Inns were opening up just for us. They wondered if we had come to see the daffies. Got asked that a lot. Figured out they meant daffodils.
