How is Cape Cod offseason (End of March/ Early April)?

Anonymous
Worth a visit? We’ve been in Summer and in late Spring (May). Never in Winter or Fall.

Cold. And generally unpleasant.

Yeah that is pretty early.

Once went to Maine the first week of May and it was great, but I think we got really lucky.

We went end of May and it was cold. Though we had some nice days. I can't imagine end of March or early April.

I think it’s nice without the crowds. You can drive up to any beach and go for a walk. Get in to any restaurant (that’s open). But not a lot to do.

It's cold and grey but pretty. Very very quiet- lots of restaurants that used to be open in the off season aren't anymore (I don't know why). Cozy time if you want to take beach walks and read.

Brrrrrrrr

Cold. And possibly damp.

That is a little early. Consider September/early October.

The DCUM crowd, who are very sensitive to the weather, will find it cold, windy and damp.

Cold, windy and damp are facts relative to global weather norms. Whether that's uncomfortable or enjoyable is up to the sensitivities of the reader.

My in-law's have a house on Martha's Vineyard and that time of year is generally cold, rainy and bleak. 0/10. Do not recommend.

Early September is the BEST time to go. Much less crowded and still warm.

Omg, no. I can’t imagine. Even Boston is terrible then.

You need to go in shoulder season, not off season. My favorite time of year is September to end of November. Then no go until mid April.
