Fight at Whitman

The problem is that MoCo PoPo won’t do anything. If they just implemented a zero-tolerance system, we’d be better off

My understanding is that the last group were not from the group home for homeless kids, but rather from the juvenile justice diversion program run by the same non-profit. The homeless shelter I think houses teens with their parents whereas the diversions program its teens without an involved parent.

Wow. I have a hard time calling that an "altercation between students."

It seems to be a pretty clear case of "jump the kid, steal his phone, demand his coat and wallet." That's not an altercation - it's assault and theft.

I found the video. Pretty sad. The second kid who beat up the kid was stomping the kid on his head aggressively and slamming his head into the stall door.

Somebody is going to get killed in MCPS. MCPS is dying to get sued.

Why hasn't it already? Or it has public unaware?

It is interesting the W schools have more serious fights. Hope the kid is ok.

The pricipal letter seems more concerned about someone recording it than what happened. What is wrong with that kid to hit another kid that many times, especially in the head. He belongs locked up for many years as the kid recording it does.

This is absolutely horrendous. I hope the young man is ok and his parents press charges against those criminals. Where on earth were security or any staff?

For the love of Pete, you are too stupid to recognize the real hate displayed in the video.
