Germantown, you'd want to look at Butler. Starts at age 3. In general I think Montessori before age 3 is a waste of money unless you need daycare.

I also wasn't a fan of Manor Montessori. My daughter hated it. The staffed seemed very uppity.

My son attends Jefferson Montessori in Gaithersburg. I LOVE it! The entire staff is amazing and the toddler teachers are so talented. They accept 18 months +.

White Flint might be good for a perfect child. Expectations from children are very high there. I always felt they are too strick. We are not happy there.

They treat their teachers and staff like dirt. The ratio of teachers to students is 30:1 at the Columbia location.
It is like a revolving door there with the turnover.

They have no kitchen - only a crockpot and microwave to serve the children their meals.

They ought to shut this place down.

Family Academy Of Bethesda takes infants from 6 weeks for daycare and as they grow older they are fed into their Montessori Program .This is the ideal situation!
Thats why I chose them even though I live in Gaithersburg.!
They are WONDERFFUL . Very good reviews both about the daycare and the Certified Montessori Program.
Highly recom; by NIH friends. You may want to take a tour.
