Super Bowl in Philadelphia with kids?

Eagles fans are disgusting pigs.
No way would I expose my kids to that behavior.

If your kids have any issues at all with crowds and loud noise, it's a hell no.

Anyone else hearing Reece Witherspoon in their head? “You have a baby… in a bar!”

Host a party at home (your youngest is FOUR, for goodness sake). If the Eagles win, take them up to Philly for the parade.

Do it OP:

Your kids will get an very good cultural experience learning from the same group of people who literally ate 🐎💩 after winning.

You have really bizarre judgment if you’re even considering this.

It's a no for me, though I'm a huge football fan, because one of my kids HATES big crowds and would be miserable.

I would either watch at home with my kids, host a super bowl party for our friends that was Philly themed, or get a sitter for my kids and go to a Philly bar in DC to watch with other fans.

Also, go Eagles because ffs the Chiefs can't win again.

Signed,
Disgruntled Bills fan

It’s not for young kids. It’s what YOU want. Leave the kids at home with a babysitter and go if you really want it.

Where does grandparent live?

Op - grandparents aren’t available to watch kids. We wanted to experience this together as a family. The kids are super into sports as well and thought it would be fun. Can’t go to the actual Super Bowl so thought this would be a fun way to experience it with the home crowd instead.

It's a huge drinking and brawling fest.

I mean wouldn't you want to be home so you can keep watching the game after your kids get bored so you can send them to another room or to bed. You really think a tired cranky four year old in a bar dealing with loud noises is going to be conducive to actually watching the game at all?

I would not take my kids to any city’s Super Bowl celebration. Between the crowds and potential for violence, those are events that I would personally stay far away from.

Are you familiar with Philly fans and crowds? It will be loud, lots of profanity, excitement/anger and intense. Why would you want that for your kids? Invite some Philly fans over and make it a fun time at home. The Super Bowl is also very long, even for sports fans.

Philly fans are in a totally different category from many other fans.

Everything you said is the truth.
