Le Blanc is also nice in Cancun. |
Anyone ever been to Sailrock in South Caicos? |
There are two beaches at the Ritz Dorado that are terrific! We loved it. Very safe and beautiful. |
There are also two Aman resorts in the Caribbean. One in T&C and one in DR.
Also look at Four Seasons Papagayo if interested in Costa Rica |
The One and Only hotels in Mexico might be nice too.

Agree with the above suggestions especially Anguilla (Cap Jaluca specifically) and St Barth's - lots of good options, personally I like Eden Rock.
The only issue with Anguilla is it is pretty much just about gorgeous sand beaches and good food. Nothing wrong with that but if you want more activity options - St. Barth's has some nice hiking, excellent shopping, night life and more of a European vibe. Little Dix on Virgin Gorda has excellent snorkeling and diving in addition to the beach thing (snorkeling off Anguilla is pretty meh) but I think its lost some of its charm since Rosewood took over (more corporate - could be anywhere in the world instead of the West Indian vibe it had before) |
I've been to the Palmilla one. If going with kids, choose that one, but Las Ventanas is much better for adults. You can take kids there, but I personally would not. |
I have! |
Love the BVI - Little Dix Bay is beautiful. If you're not afraid of sailing, charter a catamaran with a captain and chef and cruise the BVI by boat. We also really like Harbour Island, Bahamas and Four Seasons, Nevis. |
They’re ok. They just aren’t as pretty as the beaches in cayman, Turks, Bahamas, etc. |
I haven't been but multiple friends have raved about:

And how was it? |
Why is it so hard to spell it correctly? And even after I gave the correct spelling, another poster later misspelled it again! I have a hard time believing that someone who has actually been there does not know how to spell it. Cap Juluca. (NOT Jaluca.) |
I have been there, The Four Seasons, Malliouhana and a private villa on shoal bay. Sorry for my typo but if you spend your life being irritated about things like this, I can’t imagine what you’re like on vacation! |
Ha exactly this! Most folks are probably browsing this place on a cellphone while using the bathroom so typos are easy to make. |
