What year was your DC when they did it? Did they go with friends?

My child did it after freshman year and loved it. It is pricey - tuition plus housing plus travel etc but was a great experience. They went with friends and many other kids from DMV were there as well as other areas. They were not looking for internship after freshman summer. They also worked for a month that summer before they went.

ugh, it's not 1994 anymore

My DC is studying in London now and her LSE friends still attest to this.

PP here— they are very smart and come from rigorous colleges, though, so maybe it’s easier for them?

My kid at Oxford now says it’s still called Ler’s See Europe

Op - your kid should be working through the international programs office of his or her college. They line up quality programs year round for students to take advantage of. this also permits easy transfer of credits and no housing issues
