| I have a friend that does this. Basically she is smarter than everyone else and knows more about everything and can barely tolerate a discussion about anyone else but herself. I like to run or walk with her - it's like listening to a podcast - I get to keep my breath for running and don't have to wear earphones. |

My child is like this. I think it's a nervous thing, in part, and maybe an insecurity thing. Someone once told me I talked too much (an ex BF) and it was very hurtful, so I'm hesitant to tell my child the same. I will sometimes interject and ask them to give someone else a chance to talk. |
