APS 2 hr delay

PS- if you really want your kids school open, help neighbors shovel.

That’s insane. County should have patrols with shoveling crews and a fining officer onboard.

Is guess or announcement?

Give it a rest.

With new policies, social media will be even a bigger contribution to poor mental health. The less phone the better.

Is guess or announcement?

Email just came from the superintendent. Schools are open tomorrow.

APS open tomorrow- sup just sent out this email “ Dear APS Families,

We are so excited to welcome our students back to school tomorrow after this extended break. Thank you for your patience this week as our crews worked to remove the snow and ice to prepare our schools for a safe opening. If there are any delays or operating changes, we will communicate them through our usual channels.”

No, it just said “please put away your pitchforks”:

He said “excited” not “committed” or “definitely”

That would be a pretty massive communication failure. This isn't a legal contract that's subject to caveats, but is supposed to be a transparent communication to parents.

Agreed but that first paragraph hedges itself at the end…

It keeps the door open for the inevitable 2 hour delay. APS will be delayed but open tomorrow.

No way there’s school tomorrow and more snow coming Friday. They need to call it for the week and quit the nonsense.
