Man oh Man I would kill for this house

I actually really love it, but the listing is WEIRD. Some of the furniture looks AI generated, while other pieces are clearly stained and old (see photo 18 for example).

I get it, I have a family and a lot of stuff in my house is stained as well but why do AI generated dining room table/chairs but leave in a stained bench cushion?

This is also a question of preference, but the W/I closet in the primary bedroom is also a weird choice because it clearly cut into the size of the room itself. It's like they saw a thing they wanted (huge walk in closet) and tacked it onto a house that was otherwise a totally different style.

Such a tiny no nothing kitchen for that price.

Why? You can buy something brand new in a very nice area of McLean for the same price.

I don't see this house as a tear down but with some renovation and work it could be a great investment

Definitely needs renovation

It’s been on the market for a while. Redfin keeps sending me this listing.

LOL, this house is in DC.

I could get into the country house vibe, but the kitchen is really devastating. All that space to open up to and the kitchen is a cave by the garage??

Oh wait there is no garage, sorry. I misread the floorplan. The kitchen remains a tragedy.

It’s fine…you’re paying for the size of the house and the acreage. You rarely get half an acre in DC. And it’s on a quiet street. Price is right

Shutters would enhance the exterior appearance and crown molding would give some character to the interior rooms. Could use a bit of color inside.

Incredible yard and definitely some positives but it needs a dose of personality inside, colors, wallpapers, less mirrored walls, and new heating/cooling. I find it hard to imagine a lot of buyers at that range wanting baseboard heating and so sadly I think you might end up with a teardown.

House has been on the market since May and has gone through $1.2 million in price reductions, and now suddenly gets posted to DCUM purportedly as someone's dream house. Ummm, OK.

Street view? Is there no curbside? Just that fence?
