Super urban with teens boys, shorter flight from Chicago

I have been to France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, and I don’t remember where else.

On the other hand, October is a nice time in Greece if you stick with your original plan.

I went with teens, and I would add on another city too. That’s what we did because I can’t imagine staying there for a week (and we stayed in a local neighborhood and had amazing food).

Maybe Amsterdam and Copenhagen. My 19 year old son went to Copenhagen last summer and loved it. Amsterdam is great, too.

We did a Budapest, Vienna, Prague trip a few years ago and loved it. They are good sized cities but not overwhelming like Rome, Paris and London. We took trains between the cities and that was very easy and nice.

I personally would do Dublin and Belfast. Easy train between the two and the flight time is manageable from Chicago.

My second pick would be Copenhagen then train to Stockholm. My teens really loved both those cities. Longer flight though.
