We get direct communication re logistics from coach/club admin.

Not sure ECNL is considered high level anymore. MLSNext, yes.

just answering the question - and in any event, question pertains to boys and girls so answering for both. No need to add your extra MLSN commentary.

Mlsn

Never talked to the coach (parents).

Don’t email.

We are not the norm, unfortunately

I agree. It’s not high-level anymore.

We are probably at the same club. We are new and DD had her first IDP meeting this weekend. It was very helpful for her.

I beg to differ. I have seen ENCLR teams easily beat MLSN "teams" (not academies). So, it all depends on what teams you are referring to.

The issue has been talked about over and over again on this forum and it seems silly. There are just as many crap MLSN teams as there are in ECNL. And just as many good teams. It would be one thing if MLSN teams were smoking every ECNL team at every age group but that just isn’t the case. Comparing the best teams and players in each league, it doesn’t seem like there is that much daylight.

This sounds so bad. My DS is with SYC MLSN and his coach shows up for all games and practices. Like the other poster, I have my DS communicate and ask for feedback. DS gets feedback at practices and games and will ask via text.

How many coaches have the 2012s had this 24–25 season? Three?

ECNL depends on coach and varies from club to club. I’ve been associated with three clubs and have never had a verbal IDP for any of my kids across three clubs and three age groups.

My GA Club has 2 yearly reports. One in December and one in June. 2011G. One on one with the coach and the parent stands in the back and is expected not to say much
