Kids from broken homes don't have this problem. A little domestic abuse goes a long way.

He’s about 20 years old, a college student, and you’ve already determined he’s a failure? And why are you discussing grad school? Let him focus on the now. Most people don’t go to grad school.

My niece is not very academic but she’s graduating college this year. I told her to focus on getting the credits and attending every class. A 2.0 is going to get you credits. Some people can only hope for that in a certain subject.

Your expectations are generic and not based on your child. Focus on what’s best for him. You haven’t said one thing he’s doing wrong.
