Frustrated with teen's approach to NYE planning

I wish my 15 and 13 year old had plans or even chaotic plans. I am tired of the expectations that we have to do things.

My oldest is 16, I have learned that they have no idea what the plan is until like an hour before. I have gotten worked up and stressed about their plans multiple times before I realized I should just calm down till they figure out actual plans. Just my .02

On things like tonight I do require a check in every couple hours
