White infection/growth (?) on inner labia ...

Sounds like plain old smegma. Normal byproduct of healthy genitals. Are you able to remove it?

It is true I can't know for sure what might be below the white "residue," but from what I have read about cysts, they would be quite obvious, often red, as you say, and painful. Luckily, I don't have pain and nothing protruding etc. But I appreciate your sense of urgency, and it is definitely true to have a doctor examine. (Unfortunately, I am seeking a good OB/Gyn now, and don't even have a regular physician I like ... so, that is step one.)

I had posted earlier about cysts on the outer labia. Well, I just got my first inner labia cyst and it is extremely painful, so I think that should help you rule out even more that it is not a cyst. I've had a lot of cysts and none have been remotely as painful as this one.

OP here ... 05:20, thanks, that's a good reminder, it is probably smegma (as previous poster mentioned about the residue)... I've not tried to remove it, but probably I could. It's not easy to reach, being in the fold of the inner labia.

And, 16:42, thanks for mentioning... I hope the trouble gets under control for you soon.
