I would tend towards this option. It's better to start the push towards the end of year refreshed rather than jet lagged.

Or any one or two countries in Asia since you have two weeks.

Japan/korea

Malaysia/singapore/maldives

Dubai/another middle eastern country like Jordan

Spain/morocco

Spain and Morocco will be ungodly hot, as will Thailand and Vietnam. Malaysia and Singapore will be slightly better.

You forget to mention the unbearable humidity .

We did this in August and the weather was so perfect. It was really great. Teton Science School runs pricey but cool animal tours.

I was wondering how hot north of Spain would be — eg along the Pyrenees.
Switzerland — look at the Austin adventures itinerary for ideas.
Scotland? People seem to love this but I’ve never done it. Weather will be nice though.

Another idea is someplace like Chile, where it will be winter but not that cold. You can go up in the Andes for some skiing, and there are also some interesting national parks and such. But I’ve also heard that crime is rising there, so might not be as high on my list as Northern Europe or Jackson Hole.

Oh—one more I’ve never been to—but people really seem to love the Canadian Rockies. If you search this forum I’m sure you’ll get ideas.

I came here to say the same thing. They’d love it! You probably have to sign up really soon though - spots sell out quick.

Vancouver Island and the surrounding areas would be magical.
