For UVA definitely best to ED. |
FWIW IMHE it comes out around 3:00. The AO office shuts down, turns off the phones and they run for their cars for a long weekend |
They published 5 PM. That’s seems to be the standard time. Why are you taking issue with them not wanting to deal with unhinged people who will call immediately to rage at them? |
It comes out at 5. It has always come out any 5, not 4:55, 5. |
Not my kid's yead |
There are enough of us here with experience from past years. It’s always around 5 PM. This is so stupid. Why are we arguing about this? |
your kid is not too sharp then. My kids both got in ED and it was 5 PM each time. and trust me they were checking and reloading the portal page right up until it appeared at 5. But your kid obviously knows better! |
has sorry I misread your comment. your kid is not an idiot ![]() |
NP-Just curious of why you would immediately jump to insulting someone's child? You are obviously the one with reading comprehension, spelling, and grammar issues. You seem like the one that is not too sharp. Do better weirdo. |
People are so awful on the Colleges boards. Curious, do you have jobs, and at what?! |
I wish they would include the GPA & test ranges. I loved how transparent UGA was with releasing info right away. |
During the live session yesterday, dean j said it's always been 5 PM. She said she used to be the one to type the code, but not anymore. |
Almost there. Good luck everyone! |
weird how slow time will go til 5pm. GL everyone! (but know that your kid will be FINE!) |
From Dean J (or someone going by that name - I assume it is her) on CC: UVADeanJ School Representative Please read or watch the many posts I’ve made on the blog, instagram, and tiktok about why GPA stats are meaningless in selective admission. Similarly, I have many posts about testing. There is material the student hasn’t had in 1-3 years (the math section of the SAT goes through Algebra 2/Trig). There’s a story in each application and it isn’t told in numbers. |
