On reflection, I think these new “top 10” lists are intended to prime families for boundary changes (“see the great things about your new school”). Don’t want the thread to get deleted as redundant of the longer thread but does seem like the most likely impetus.

Yep. And note - two of the schools most posters don't want to be rezoned to have nothing listed to brag about. Very telling.

Madison lists academic achievement as #1 and then goes on to discuss SBG. This is the worst thing about this school. Athletics should have been #1.

I refuse to play. Why should we hype up a school if they are going to redistrict us anyway?

WHy make the schools look good, when they are going to fundamentally change the composition and class offerings of every single school?

Yeah but either does WSHS - which is one school many are scared of being transferred from.

Yep, our principal told us all schools were all being asked to make these lists for that reason.
