| Chantilly did it right. Langley/McLean bragging about their rankings and championships missed the point. |
Chantilly is ranked lower and has fewer championships. Langley and McLean tout other attributes. Langley mentions "Committed to Service." McLean mentions "Community Minded at McLean." |
| Of course our HS has nothing...lol |
Look for an addition to the school's web page over the coming days. |
SJW sjw’ing. Never misses an “opportunity” to push the agenda that destroyed the democrats hopes last month. |
I don't think there's a right way and a wrong way to come up with a list like this. You can infer what you want about what schools choose to feature. |
| Well done Chantilly HS. No longer have students in FCPS but Chantilly list is what we experienced. Oakton’s shallow list on one time events and fluff is also what we experienced. They do not welcome parent partners or students with learning differences. They are about optics. |
Can't say I would have anticipated Chantilly posters would be first out of the gate to treat these lists as an opportunity to engage in one-upmanship rather than to learn something about other schools. You're batting 0 for 2 so far. |
All three of my kids do/did music at Langley, and being ranked/achieving high success was meaningful to them. The music programs were terrific, so my kids’ experiences there were part of what made high school fun for them. My DD will say that music was the best part of high school for her! |
Nice try. You are clearly ignoring the “bragging” that every school - including Chantilly - did. That was the assignment, in fact. Chantilly listed their own stats too. |
+1 How absurd. |
| Robinson has listed that “Student’s Excel.” Not at proofreading, I guess. |
| And where’s Mia Hamm in the Robinson famous former students? |
She attended Lake Braddock (and only for her senior year). |
