Give me your best sherbert punch recipe!!

I know we all called it “sherbet” in the 70s, but isn’t it actually “sherbet”?

Our punch was half raspberry half orange sherbet with Sprite and a sprinkling of bright red maraschino cherries.

Ours was Hawaiin punch, ginger ale or sprite and sherbet optkonal. (Can we just agree to change the name to sherbet? Sherbet sounds faux French.).
I am a sort of foodie but I absolutely adore this drink. I tried to make it for my kids and they thought it was gross! We used to drink it in fancy cut glass glasses for the holidays. So fancy!
