Have you been weighing yourself regularly? I think that is key to being accountable for what you are eating. If you start eating poorly and avoid the scale, you will lose accountability. You need to be able to see the pounds adding up in real time, not stepping on the scale months later to see a 30 lb gain. That is avoidance. |
I do, always. But before this scale I was using an old one which told me I was 145 (I am 5'2) which is too much, but still within my "I've been there and can get down to a better weight" realm. This new scale told me I am 156lbs!! Now that is nearly obese and feels like a red alarm going off. |
I am 5’2 as well and was 156 pounds. I started mounjaro 6 weeks ago and I have lost 16 pounds. My goal is to get down to 115. I have had no side effects other than not wanting to eat much. It is definitely a game changer. I was on 2.5 for 4 weeks and have now taken 2 doses of 5. Not having to think about food has been so freeing. |
I wish I could do it...But I just can't. I could barely function on Semaglutide and can't live like that forever. |
Mounjaro is not semaglitide so you might not have the same side effects. |
Try eating less and moving more. It works. |
