Naw, bish. I am more important than you so you WILL yield when I need to back out. Do you have a better understanding of the order of operations and your station? Good. |

You people who can't handle parking lots need to stop going out in public.
If there is one car sure, otherwise it's like a merge. |

This is why backing IN to parking spaces is the safest solution. When you back in, you have a great view of when you can leave the space. Also, at the time you back in, you have everyone attention and it's safer to do your backup because folks are already aware of your car from being in the center of traffic.
This thread is a great counter to all this site's prior complaints about people who back up into parking spaces. THIS IS WHY BACKING IN IS SAFER FOR ALL! |
Naw, that’s just selfish behavior by self-important people. And bank robbers who need to make a quick getaway. |
| People who want to back into parking spots aren't following the plan. If you drive into a parking lot, there are usually arrows showing you the direction that you should be going. Then, the parking spots are at an angle where you can turn into them easily. To back into these spots would mean that you are going against the directional arrows. |
The person who claims to be in charge has to bowdlerize their speech in order to post on here. Guess you’re not in control of everything after all. |
| A woman backing out hit me in a crowded mall parking lot yesterday. We were both going slowly, so neither car was damaged. However, her first words to me were that it was my fault because I was driving fast, which was utterly impossible given the traffic. And it was her job not to back out when I was behind her! So frustrating. |

I mean, the solution is to back IN, but then look at the other threads complaining about that.
|
Well it's not really contested if you were in the main aisle and she was entering the main aisle. She was at fault. |
I'm convinced the only people who complain about others backing in to a spot are those who find it too difficult and subsequently feel "seen." Why else would they care? |
