I want to hear about it! Was it from a patio turkey?

Patio turkey! I love Thanksgiving on DCUM.

100% toss. 4 days unrefrigerated is just not even a question and like others have said, I truly am pretty low key about these things.

Call the Butterball advice line, so you'll have 3rd party guidance (aparft from responses here). That might be helpful. https://www.butterball.com/how-to

You'll be fine.

I say give it a go and report back here on how it all goes.

Don’t buy a frozen turkey today because it won’t thaw by Thursday.

ONly if you do an AMA thread the day after Thanksgiving -- or maybe five it 48 hours to really kick in.

Trader Joe's has brined preaseasoned turkeys you don't have to do anything but cook. Go buy one of those. They're not frozen.

Go to Walmart and get a fresh turkey that doesn't need to thaw before Thursday. Lordy be.

I got a 14 lb frozen turkey at Giant yesterday for $4.10.

If I were you, I would spend $4.10 to keep from making everyone violently ill.

Yes I left it out for a few hours yesterday and am about to take it out of the fridge now for additional thawing time.

If you serve it, do your guests the courtesy of letting them know you are serving a turkey that sat outside for 5 days and let them make their own decisions.
