That was very informative, thank you. |
That’s idiotic. It’s not like advancing tech renders your car immobile. Occasionally leasing can work out better for low volume cars but Musk isn’t giving any deals. They are only operational because they have a lot of capital from being meme stock. They are a good luxury car company if you can afford repairs and early replacement. Which does speak to the advantages of leases for an unreliable car. https://insideevs.com/news/731559/tesla-least-reliable-used-car-brands/ |

If money is a problem and/or consideration, why not work on that. Tesla stock goes up and down $50 within a month. You should be in Tesla stock buying low and selling high, and then buying/leasing the car with someone else's money.
There are better stocks ofcourse to get it done. |
| I am a basic betch and I will never get a Tesla, not because I’m trying to make a statement but because I don’t want to think about Elon musk more than necessary. That can’t be good for the brand. |
My family member worked for Tesla as an engineer until recently. When they purchased their latest EV, they didn’t choose a Tesla. That spoke volumes to me that the Tesla isn’t necessarily superior to every other EV. |
| I do not believe Tesla allows lease buyouts at the end of the lease - you have to return to Tesla. |
That would be classic Musk. Use an artificially low residual value leading to high lease payments relative to what they should be then sell it used for a premium. |
Ha, they announced a retroactive change to this policy literally yesterday. Have a Tesla now, will never buy another one again. |
+1 |
Tell us more. This would be good information. |
It might though. What if there’s some new battery/charging technology that comes out that makes it impossible to charge your car except for at home? Sure you can still drive your car but you won’t be able to go on any road trips with it |
This is not the reason the price of Teslas are falling. They cut prices because of competition. There are better EVs that are less expensive vs Tesla. Tesla’s technology is out of date. Many of the Tesla buyers have bought from other manufacturers and like the newer EVs from different manufacturers better. |
| Tesla recently reduced prices on several of its electric vehicle models primarily due to slowing sales, increasing competition from other EV manufacturers, and a desire to stimulate demand in a market where sales were declining, particularly in key regions like China and Europe; this strategy is often referred to as a "price war" to regain market share |

Every piece of the car is the cheapest materials and parts you could find. The car squeaks and creaks like crazy. I feel like I’m driving a golf cart as I can hear everything while driving and the suspension is awful. I’m tired of the extreme minimalism. I’m tired that there’s been barely any updates since my model 3 was announced like 8 years ago. Im tired of the extreme price cuts that make my vehicle extremely underwater to an extent never seen before by any other vehicle manufacturer. I’m tired of the Tesla fanboys defending every wrong move the company makes. I’m tired of Elon. |
