Definitely not. That score says your kid doesn’t need AAP. Hope for a strong CogAT. |
You can add to the packet even in January. Just need to submit the referral form before the deadline. Ask your AART. |
Just my opinion from what I've seen: 115-120: Include only if your kid is two of: URM, FARMS, or at a Title I school 120-125: Include only if your kid is one of: URM, FARMS, or at a Title I school, or if your kid has a 130+ subscore in either VCI or FRI 125-130: Include only if there's a 130+ subscore in either VCI or FRI or if it's higher than the CogAT composite above 130: Should be included, unless the CogAT is incredibly high and the WISC is only right around 130. |
From what you've seen.....where? |
Nice |
My Title I school. |
AARTs are not supposed to give advice, that is FCPS policy. Some AARTs ignore said policy but some schools are very clear that the AART and Teachers will not discuss LIV applications in anyway. That was our schools policy. Teachers would not discuss if their thoughts and the AART would not comment on anything application related. |
That makes me think the kid was prepped for the nnat. May not be true, but that is what is looks like. |
Do you have a link to that policy? Google is not helping me. |
It’s s common combo IME (with an ADHD kid). Especially because the overall FSIQ is pulled down by the slow processing score. |
High working memory and average processing speed is not a red flag for ADHD. |
No, that WISC score would suggest your child should NOT be in AAP. It would hurt your child, not help. |
Why do you know other people's children's scores? |
