Nope. We just sold a house and the buyers were represented by Redfin. Terrible experience. Our long & foster agent basically carried the weight. And even worse was the settlement company picked by the buyers which we figured out was a Redfin owned settlement company.

Interesting. So the experience was terrible, but you can't describe anything specific about what made it terrible?

I bought and sold 3 houses with Redfin and never had a problem. Overall, saved more than $100K on 3 properties and I don't see why realtors hate on Redfin so much. It is good for people and save both sides a lot of money.

I think agents are still going around trying to justify their high commission when they have nothing to offer. If Redfin can do it so can they but it is the greed.

I'd recommend looking at who represented the buyers and sellers for properties that you liked. You can see trends pretty quickly that way. I wish we did that as our neighborhood is super competitive and there are really 2 realtors that dominate, and I think we were at a disadvantage with ours.

Also would love someone seasoned and knowledgeable about making competitive offers in the current environment. Thank you!!

Realtor. With a capital R. It’s a proper noun.

No, I am not one. I am just a grammar Nazi.
