Why do Republicans sound like Neville Chamberlain when it comes to Ukraine?

Because it's the opposite stance from the stance of the opposition party. That's why. If a Republican was currently in office and providing ongoing support to Ukraine, Dems would be campaigning on a promise to either end the war or stop the military aid. It's what they do. This is modern day politics under the rule of the awful GOP and Dem parties.

Wow. For a democrat you sure know how to push out the Republican/russian propaganda.

Don't you remember when all those republican congressional representatives when to Russia to meet Putin on July 4th during Trump's first term in office? I do.

Assume GOP appeasement to Russia is the plan.

What, exactly, is Republican and Russian propaganda about those statements? We are unprepared for a war with China. Are you actually a Chinese agent?

We got to test our weapon systems and ramp up weapons production under the guise of helping an ally

Letting Ukraine recycle our trash and keep our war machinery oiled and practiced is not bleeding it resources try.

This materiel and ordnance need to be exploded. It may as well explode at Russian military sites.

You want the real answer?

Lots of Republicans/conservatives are in thrall to the petroleum industry. And they are salivating at the chance to normalize relations with Russia and get back to drilling. There's still billions of US and British drilling assets stuck in Russia.

Why do you think Rex Tillerson was Trump's first SOS? It was because of his background at Exxon and recipient of the "Friend of Russia" award from Putin himself.

Texas oil men have had close relations with Russians and Saudis going back nearly a century.

You republicans have been bought by the Chinese for years. Your biggest donors Adelson(before he died) had been under Chinese influence for years and years. He bought the Republican Party for the Chinese. His window has continued the tradition. You do not seem to have any type of understanding of US politics or world events. The Republican Party has positioned itself as an ally to both Russia and China. Rupert Murdoch is another one of these foreigners who control the republicans.

You are most definitely NOT a Democrat. I would scratch your eyes out if you uttered this trash in my physical presence.

And if he does, so what? Europe should be responsible for its own defense after decades of failing to uphold its treaty obligations. Let them eat cake.

NP. Not exactly a student of history, are you?
Isolationism and "America First" didn't exactly work out well the first time around.

+1 Wtf happened to Rs? They used to understand that geopolitical issues impact our national security. I guess the ignorant MAGA party took over the R party.

No reasonable people with at least half a brain identify as "Republicans" or "Democrats" anymore. Too embarrassing
