Do Seniors (12th grade) take MAP tests, why?

All 9th graders should have taken MAPR and all students in algebra should have taken MAPM. Anything outside of that was against the district’s directions.

Yet schools administered them to students who were not in only 9th grade.

Are they schools with a high percentage of kids testing below average? Maybe there is a need?

What was the school’s reason for testing beyond 9th or Alg1? No one we know has noted taken the MAP test in higher grades.

Is it a "weed out" test used as one form of eval of teachers? Students do not take it seriously so results not necessarily a good indicator of teaching
