Unoriginal but classic: Witch and pumpkin or cat.
LOVE the Leia/Yoda and Dorothy/Toto ideas, too. |
how cute! haha |
| Last year when my DD was just one I made her into an octopus. It sounds boring but it was so freaking cute and I got so many compliments. I dressed her in all black with a black ski cap. I put big googly eyes on the hat and then bought extra long knee socks from Target in coordinating purple, black, gray and white. I stuffed the socks and then sewed them to a sash and tied them around her waist. People died laughing and it was soooo adorable. |
And you were dressed as what? |
Are you just bitter because you aren't invited to a Halloween party each year? |
2 years ago I was Leia, DH was Han Solo and DD (11 months) was Yoda We loved it! I made my costume--White turtle neck and long white skirt. Put foil around a thick belt. Got brown yarn and braided it and then made it into those cinnamon roll looking things and bobby pinned them to my head. I did buy the yoda costume for DD, but saved some money by doing our own for the adults.

Hysterical. But I have a feeling that if the OP is someone who says "super duper cool" she's probably not the type to go for something like this. |
| Chicken and egg. |
OOPS, I didn't read the post very well. Missed the mommy and me part thought she just wanted a cute baby costume. BUT...my sister went as a lily pad and dressed her then baby as a frog. It was really adorable. |
