we're attending a friend's Halloween party and helping with the organization.
it's my first Halloween ever and baby will be 4mo old. any super duper cool ideas? TIA |
Last year my cousin and her baby were Big Edie and Little Edie from Grey Gardens. I realize you've got to be a certain type of person to pull that off, but it was awesome. Oh, and her baby is a boy. |
| Sarah Palin and Bristol... |
Princess Leah and Yoda? I've seen great Yoda costumes for babies!
|
|
Your 4 month won't give a rat's ass about the costume.
Why is it your first Halloween ever? |
The best I've seen along these lines was a Mom dressed up as a chef, with the baby dressed as a little lobster. I couldn't stop laughing!
|
| Bristol Palin in a 'DWTS' get-up + her baby TripTrap, or whatever his name is. |
|
Mail lady and a piece of mail.
|
| Barack Obama and Medvedev. If you have twins you can add Putin. |
| PP here -- at that same party, there was a Mom who went as the Cat in the Hat, and her twins were dressed as Thing One and Thing Two. Sounds like you'd be one short for that one, though... |
| Will DH be with you? Charlie Brown, Lucy and the baby can be the Football. |
I like this idea. Or, Dorothy and Toto Bo peep and Lamb Witch and Cat One of my friends dressed as a fisherman and her DD was a fish |
|
I love the Leia/Yoda idea.
Might be too risque, but last year I considered going as Lady Gaga and Baby Gaga. Since Gaga wears a lot of adult "onesies" and babies wear onesies, I figured it might be a good fit. This year I want my toddler to go as "Hit Girl" from the movie "Kick Ass" but I can only find the costume in adult sizes. Grrr. I'm actually considering buying the adult size and having a friend cut it down to her size, but that seems complicated. |
Do we know the same mom (and baby)?? My friend did this last year. |
OP here. Why bother to post if this is all you have to say? I'm from another country that's why. And to the other ladies thanks A LOT! I love the suggestions
